I bought the camera recently as a work camera having owned a Sony DSC-HX99 whilst cheaper, if anything, I prefer it ton the other one. Great functionality and easy to use with a good range of alternative settings. Great zoom and fits easily in a jacket pocket.

Me regalaron esta cámera para sustituir una de vieja. Desde que la tengo puedo decir que vale para youtubers. Destaco su portabilidad y la calidad de imagen y programas.

One of the best cameras ever owed. Features such as 'panorama' are excellent. One slightly negative issue is that it is hard to see the framed picture in the screen in strong sun light.

La cámara es buena en general, tiene muchas funciones que hacen que puedas disfrutar de la fotografía como es mi caso. Destacar que no es tan ligera para llevar como podría parecer, abulta bastante como para llevarla cómodamente en un bolsillo. La pantalla me resulta oscura a pesar de haber puesto el máximo de luminosidad que permite. Es una cámara que al tener tantas funciones se requiere tiempo y paciencia para poder hacer las fotos. La calidad de la imagen y el zoom son en muy buenos.

Pues está bien la cámara. Si solo la utilizarás para hacer foto personales para ti, sin muchas pretensiones, está bien.

Only used this a few times since buying in the past month, but impressed. Previously had a Sony DSC-HX20V, which started playing up, and this is an improvement, particularly impressive is the 30x zoom combined with the steady shot function - allows very detailed shots. The usual range of functions and guidance make it easy to use and its small size makes it easy to carry about. So far so good!!

I bought a white WX500 and it looks amazing. You can connect the camera to a Xperia smartphone aswell using NFC or WiFi which is a nice little feature. The 30x optical zoom is fantastic as you can zoom into any subject and still get high quality photos. The screen makes it so much easier to take photos from more difficult angles. I've had this camera for a couple of days and I highly recommend it, much better than most phone cameras I've used and it's very good value for money.

Mjy HX80 which I'd used daily for the past 5yrs suffered a heavy fall from a fair height & broke. So I decided to upgrade to this camera, very similar features to the HX80 cannot fault the high quality

este producto ya lo habia comprado con anterioridad y era muy bueno las fotos geniales en especial las selfis lamentablemente me fue robado y lamente mucho eso ya que con el se llevaron muchas fotos del ultimo viaje que hice luego de esto quise comprarlo nuevamente y ya no estaba a la venta en ningun lado ni siquiera en el exterior solo vendian usados y yo queria uno nuevo gracias a sony que lo volvio a lanzar sin dudarlo lo adquiri y me siento muy feliz por que es un producto genial saca las mejores fotos con una resolucion increible estoy super conforme

Looking for a compact camera with a powerful zoom to compliment my iPhone. Also wanted Wi-fi for easy transfer. The WX500 certainly meets the first criteria but I find the Wi-fi transfer tricksy.

Excelente cámara, gran nitidez en las imágenes y un zoom con muy buena respuesta de enfoque

I got fed up carrying an SLR and lenses, so I was taking fewer and fewer photo's. I wanted a lot more than a phone could give, so tried this. I'm delighted that I did! Huge range of features, fantastic zoom an pictures nearly as good as my old SLR, sometimes better. I use 'auto' for 80 to 90% of the time, and am still exploring all the other possibilities. Delighted with my purchase.

I bought this a month ago as I wanted to vlog and needed a camera that could take videos and focus properly. Well, it is perfect! The focus is great, the zoom is perfect, sound quality is adequate for the purpose, the lighting effects are fantastic, and the camera is great too! I only really use it for vlogging and it fits my needs. The only suggestions if have are to include a pause video function and to allow it to be used as a webcam! The rest is perfect :)

Hola, la cámara me gusto, pero me es imposible instalar las aplicaciones que te brinda sony, para poder pasar las fotos a mi celular. Es mas, la compre por esto.

I bought this as a replacement for a broken HX90, so I knew the picture quality would be excellent, with the Zeiss lens and the x30 zoom. I was very disappointed to find Drive Mode did not include auto-bracketing, a fact I had been unable to pick up from various reviews. I had thought even the cheapest cameras had this feature. First impression is that the built in HDR is grungy, and no substitute, but I am still exploring the various options offered.
